New Orleans - Tampa - Colorado Springs

Found is coming to New Orleans, Tampa, and Colorado Springs! First up is the New Orleans Horror Film Festival at the Cafe Istanbul, September 26-29. Then the movie plays in Colorado Springs at the 6th Annual Indie Spirit Film Festival, October 3-6. And on Sunday, October 6, we’ll also be screening in Tampa at the Muvico Centro Ybor for the inaugural Innovative Film Festival.

Canadian Premiere at Montreal HorrorFest!

Found makes its Canadian premiere at the Montreal HorrorFest, part of the Montreal ComicCon, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, September 13-15, 2013. Found is scheduled to screen on Friday the 13th (what an appropriate date!) at 4:30 pm. The festival has announced many celebrity guests who are expected to attend the convention: Carrie Fisher, Lloyd Kaufman, Michael Rooker, Billy Dee Williams, George Takei, Gillian Anderson, Laurie Holden, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, and a ‘Battlestar Galactica’ cast reunion that includes Edward James Olmos, James Callis, Jamie Bamber, Tricia Helfer, and Katee Sackhoff. French Premiere at L’Etrange Festival!

 

Found will make its French Premiere at the Forum des Images in Paris for the 19th Annual Etrange Festival. Found is scheduled to screen Thursday, September 5th at 10:15 pm and Monday, September 9th at 9:30 pm. Louisiana Premiere at Phenom Film Fest

Found is an official selection of the 2nd Annual Phenom Film Festival in Shreveport/Bossier City, September 19-22, 2013. This will be Found‘s Louisiana premiere and first screening in the southeastern United States. The festival program has been released, with Found scheduled to play Saturday, September 21st, at 7:50 pm at the East Bank Theater in Bossier City. For more information, visit the festival website!

Gavin Brown wins Best Actor at L.A. Fear & Fantasy Film Festival!

Found‘s leading actor, 14-year-old Gavin Brown, took home the prize for Best Actor at the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Fear & Fantasy Film Festival on Saturday, May 11th, 2013. The award is Brown’s second, after winning Best Male Performance from the A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney, Australia, last month. Brown was accompanied to the L.A. festival by director Scott Schirmer, producer Damien Wesner, composer Lito Velasco, and co-star Angela Denton. Read more »

“Found” Wins Best Horror Feature at Phoenix Film Festival

The Copper Wing award for Best Horror Feature went to Found at the 13th annual Phoenix Film Festival‘s award ceremony at the Harkins Scottsdale 101 on Sunday night, April 7th. Director Scott Schirmer, co-producer and director of photography Leya Taylor, and associate producer/special effects artist Shane Beasley were present to accept the award. Found screened at the festival April 5th, 6th, and 8th and was, in the words of horror feature programmer Brandon Kinchen, one of the most talked-about films of the festival. “Found” European Premiere in Brussels!

Found made its European premiere in Brussels on April 4th, 2013, as an official selection of the 31st Annual Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.  Composer Bing Satellites was in attendance at the late-night screening, which took place at the Centre for Fine Arts.  Four hundred people turned out for the screening. “Found” Wins Best Feature and Actor at Australian Premiere

Found made its Australian premiere at the 7th Annual A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney, Australia on April 16th, 2013, and took home awards for Best Feature and Best Actor (Gavin Brown). Over 100 films played at the 11-day festival, which ran concurrently with the 4th Annual Fantastic Planet Film Festival. Together, the festivals are Sydney’s greatest genre film event. The screenings took place at the Dendy Cinemas, where Found played to a packed house.
